I majored in studio arts and completed an apprenticeship as an outside machinist at a shipyard. After graduation, I worked in project management creating and maintaining integrated production schedules repairing Navy ships. When I bought my first house in 2016, I performed most of the renovations myself. Soon after, I left the shipyard and began working on other people’s homes full time. So, I have a strong mix of craftsmanship, management and mechanical experience. I notice that many general contractors and property management companies rarely visit the property- they just subcontract the work and receive payment.
